2 more ways to earn gift cards!!

I just found out about 2 new ways to earn gift cards so I thought I would share.  Some of you may already know about these, if not, give them a try. (=

My favorite is CheckPoints.  You earn points for "checking into stores" around you or that you all ready shop at.  All you do is Check In and scan some items for points and coins.  The coins can be used to play games to earn more points and then you can use the points to order gift cards such as Amazon, Home Depot, iTunes, Starbucks and more!  Use the link HERE to sign up and please use the Bonus code: slagle30.  Using that code you will automatically get 300 points added to your account and 150 to my account.
The other app I have started using is Shopkick.  I am fairly new to this one so I cant give you too many details but it is sort of the same as Checkpoints.  You earn points for checking into certain stores and scanning items. Not a big week for deals at Publix, but I was able to score some free cat treats and free Coke.  I had 2 coupons from My Coke Rewards (the points on all the lids) for free 12 packs.  I may go back tomorrow for some more items ( i limited on time today) and try to do the gas card deal.  Here is what I got:

I decided to do my CVS trip at midnight since I was already up and wanted to make sure that I got everything I wanted before the shelves were cleared this morning.  I was surprised to see that a couple of others had the same idea. (=  I started my trip with $5 Extra Bucks so that helped my bottom line a lot.  I did 4 transactions as follows:

My CVS Trip 1/29

I made 2 trips to CVS to my deals and the first one didnt turn out as well as I would have like.  First, CVS has changed the cash card deals. It used to be that you had to spend $30 BEFORE coupons and now it is AFTER coupons. I had no clue that this changed because it didnt say it in the ad so I was surprised to find out then I went to do my first transaction and it didnt print my receipt for the cash card. Then because I was so flustered from trying to figure out what else to buy to get to my $30 total I forgot to use one of my coupons on the next deal. Then when I went back later in the morning to get my papers and coupons I forgot to grab all of my extra bucks and only grabbed $1 in extra bucks!  UGHH!  But I got it all figured out and was able to finish my next transactions.  I had a gift card and extra bucks to start my so that helped keep my totals down.

Looking for ways to earn FREE gift cards??

Not only can you earn gift cards from your credit cards rewards programs, but you can also earn them from doing things like surveys.  I have a couple of sites I use to earn points which I then get gift cards with.  Below I have listed my favorite sites and also invite/referral links in case you want to check them out and/or join.  Most of them you get points in your account just by joining with the links.

Superpoints - This is my favorite. You can do surveys, watch videos and also the SUPERLUCKY Button.  You get so many clicks a day and you can earn different amounts of points for just clicking the button.  I got enough points to order gift cards to use as Christmas presents this year and now I am starting working on more.  You can get gift cards to places like, Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, Paypal and Starbucks. Swagbucks - This is my second favorite site.  You can do surveys, daily polls, watch videos and more and earn swagbucks (points) that you can redeem for gift cards or other stuff.  They also post "codes" in different areas that you can redeem for free points.

Zoombucks - This site you can do surveys, tasks etc.. to earn points and then use those points to redeem gift cards or prizes.  This one is a little harder to get points unless you do a lot of surveys but it is still a good one.
