We are all coming down with miserable colds and my stock on meds for colds was empty.  I only took $5 EB's and $5 gift card with me because I didnt think I would be picking up anything else, otherwise my total would have been zero.  CVS has their summer stuff on clearance right now for 50-75% off and I couldnt pass up the flip flops and they also had several medicines on clearance from 30-50% off.  The soap in the picture should not be there, it was a purchase at Bi-Lo that made it into this pic some how.

I just made a quick trip to CVS today.  I couldnt pass up the cheap Pepsi next and while I was there the "magic coupon machine" spit out a coupon for $0.50 off 24 pk of Nestle water and a $1 off 2 Mars singles.

My CVS Trip 1/29

I made 2 trips to CVS to my deals and the first one didnt turn out as well as I would have like.  First, CVS has changed the cash card deals. It used to be that you had to spend $30 BEFORE coupons and now it is AFTER coupons. I had no clue that this changed because it didnt say it in the ad so I was surprised to find out then I went to do my first transaction and it didnt print my receipt for the cash card. Then because I was so flustered from trying to figure out what else to buy to get to my $30 total I forgot to use one of my coupons on the next deal. Then when I went back later in the morning to get my papers and coupons I forgot to grab all of my extra bucks and only grabbed $1 in extra bucks!  UGHH!  But I got it all figured out and was able to finish my next transactions.  I had a gift card and extra bucks to start my so that helped keep my totals down.

I got a $25 CVS  gift card from the points on my credit card so I decided to take advantage of it this week.  I also had 2 CVS coupons from the coupon machine in the store from the last 2 weeks  and they matched sales from this week so I also used them. I did 3 transactions in order to roll my Extra Bucks and spend less of the gift card, 1 was for $3 off  2 specific household cleaners and $3 of Listerine, Reach floss and Reach toothbrush.

Not only can you earn gift cards from your credit cards but you can also earn them from doing things like surveys.  I have a couple of sites I use to earn points which I then get gift cards with.  Below I have listed my favorite sites and also invite/referral links to in case you want to check them out and/or join.  Most of them you get points in your account just by joining with links.

Superpoints - This is my favorite. You can do surveys, watch videos and also the SUPERLUCKY Button.  You get so many clicks a day and you can earn different amounts of points for just clicking the button.  I got enough points to order gift cards to use as Christmas presents this year and now I am starting working on more.  You can get gift cards to places like, Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, Paypal and Starbucks. Swagbucks - This is my second favorite site.  You can do surveys, daily polls, watch videos and more and earn swagbucks (points) that you can redeem for gift cards or other stuff.  They also post "codes" in different areas that you can redeem for free points.

Zoombucks - This site you can do surveys, tasks etc.. to earn points and then use those points to redeem gift cards or prizes.  This one is a little harder to get points unless you do a lot of surveys but it is still a good one.

Had fun doing my CVS trip today, the cashier was new and was learning how rolling EB's works.  She was amazed at how much you can save.  I could have saved a few dollars more if I would have done 4 transactions but I didnt want to overwhelm her and other customers were starting to show up.  I was also surprised to learn that the newspaper I usually get went up a quarter in orice but it is still cheaper than other local papers.   I started this trip off with $7 EB's and $6.83 on a gift card.
