My Walmart Trip 8/7 Saved 91%!!

I decided to make a quick run to Walmart today with coupons in hand for some cheap to free items.  I never have good luck getting the free or really cheap stuff, it always seems to be cleaned out by the time I get there. Today I got about half of what i was going for.

5- Pepsi Next 2L @ $1 ea - 3MQ $.55 & 1MQ $1/2 = $2.35 ($0.47 ea)

2- Accu- Chek Nano @ $9.76 ea - 2MQ $10 = FREE + $0.48 overage

1- NYC nail color @ $0.99

1- Kotex U liners @ $1.19 - $1 = $0.19

3- Bic Silky Smooth @ $2.97 ea - 3MQ $3 = FREE + $0.09 overage

1- Bic Soilel @ $3.67 - 1MQ $3 = $0.67

Total = $3.63 thats 91% savings!!

my small but cheap walmart trip saved 75%

 

I decided to make a quick trip to Walmart to look for some items to help keep my coupon desk more organized and walked out with the above items for only $2.79.  That is a savings of 75%!!  i have to say it was a good trip until i went to the check out and was informed that two of the coupon i was going to use were expired and the cashier was snotty about it. I apologized and she looked at me like i was trying to scam them.  (this was for 2 more packages of razors.)  she then told me my total and i asked if she would please remove the 2 razors that i wasnt able to use the coupons for because i new that i had non expired coupons for them at home.  Get this,  she then rolled her eyes and said " i figured you were going to do that".  she then scans them to remove them and slams them on the counter!!  I know Walmart has a bad wrap for their coupon unkindness but I have learned which cashiers to avoid and never thought that she would be one of them.  Hopefully she was just having a bad day and wont be like this to others.  )=  Some things are just so much cheaper there and/or not offered at regular grocery stores.  But I guess not all cashiers can be as great as the cashiers at my local Publix!! (=

1- Schick 12ct razor @ $1.97 - 1 MQ $2 = FREE

2- U by Kotex liners @ $1.24 ea - 2 MQ $1 = $0.48

1- Cinnamon Toast crunch @ $2.84 - 1 MQ $0.40 = $2.34

Total - $2.79

So, I was at Walmart to pick up a few items for doing some crafts (which they were out of) when I saw some deals I couldnt pass up.  They had a cart full of candy for REALLY cheap and I was making up goodie bags for my sons baseball team so it was perfect timing. (=

(2) Reeses 65ct ($8.48) marked down to $2.12 ea

(2) Starburst Gummie Burst ($1.98)marked down to $0.49 ea

(2) Twizzlers ind wrapped ($1.98) marked down to $0.49 ea

(1) Childs Play asst candy ($4.48) marked down to $1.12

(3) M&M's candy corn ($2.48) marked down to $0.62 ea

(2) Up2U gum ($1.28) - (2) MQ $1 = $0.28 ea

(2) First Aid kits (0.97ea) - (2) MQ $1 = FREE + $0.06 overage

(3) Mini Pumpkin 3pks sign said $1 but they rang up @ $0.02 ea = $0.06

Grand Total = $9.74 for $44.30 worth of items. 78% savings!!

Walmart trip 3/23

I decided to go to Walmart and do some price checking and also to see if they had the infamous Purex 3N1 Travel size 2ct that they have been out of since the $1 coupon came out.  THEY DID!! I was so happy, if there wouldn't have been other people on the aisle with me, I would have done the Happy Dance. Anyhow, I picked up 9 of them (no, i did NOT clear the shelf, they had a ton of them).

(9) Purex 3n1 2ct @ $0.97 ea - (9) MQ $1 (3/3 RP) = FREE
(1) Sally Hansen Cream Bleach $5.12 - $1 MQ = $4.12

Some people have asked me why I would waste coupons on Travel size items. Simple- its FREE.  This isnt normally a detergent I would purchase, but since it is FREE, why not.  It is 18 loads of laundry worth of detergent for FREE!  I LOVE THAT WORD!!!  hehe
